Temporary Protected Status (TPS)
Temporary Protected Status is a temporary immigration status granted by the United States government to eligible nationals of countries that are facing ongoing armed conflict, environmental disasters, or other extraordinary and temporary conditions that make it unsafe for their citizens to return to their home country. TPS allows these individuals to live and work in the United States legally for a limited period of time.
TPS is typically granted for a specific time frame and can be extended if the conditions in the home country do not improve. It does not provide a path to permanent residency or citizenship, but it offers protection from deportation and authorization to work during the designated period.
Visitor Visas
